Scott and another volunteer loaded 110 pounds of SNAP Kitchen donations from the Arboretum and then I delivered it to the Hope shelter in Round Rock. They gave me directions over the phone once I got to the "meeting spot". They seemed organized about freezing some and keeping some fresh. I signed the NDA and then left.
I picked up 2 boxes of bread from Upper Crust and then took my boys and they helped me load up 130 pounds of food from SNAP Kitchen. Then I took my husband and Dad to do the drop off at Spring Terrace but they could only accept the bread, which we gave them. Someone else had loaded them up that same day with Snap, only a few hours before. So, after a dispatch consultation we took the load to Outcry in the Barrio. They helped us unload and put our coolers back in our car and prayed for us and sent us on our merry way.
