I put together a shelf for the Tiger Pantry that was much needed!
This past weekend I visited family in Nashville and met up with some family friends to help with roofing repairs. Seeing how much of a difference a roof makes is truly incredible. It was great to get out into the community after Thanksgiving and put a smile on others' faces during the holiday season.
On Sunday, November 20th, Sterling & I volunteered with his neighborhood community by cleaning up leaves. We got to interact with members of the community through conversation, music, and service.
I volunteered at a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat by hosting games for the children at Central to play as they made their way around all of the decorated trunks. It was super fun seeing everybody and their family dressed up in their Halloween costumes! I dressed up as Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus!
Lately I have been wanting to try new restaurants in the Memphis area, so my friend Kylie and I most recently visited Babalu. Babalu is definitely a different style than I am used to, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food! I will definitely go back there again!
I helped professional researchers classify data through a virtual data collection and recording platform. I would verify specific animals through photographs taken on conservation sites in Kenya. This helps researchers identify and count how many animals are in existence in this area.
My little brother recently started playing t-ball and I wanted to make sure that I had been there to support him. For one game, I decided to work the concession stand to complete a few hours while still spending time at the ball field.
I decided to donate to this book drive to support my good friend and her organization, Pi Beta Phi. I donated books from my house that had just been sitting on the shelf, so I knew that donating them would be so much better than them not getting any use at all!
