I volunteered at the College of Education Teacher Career Fair at the Frank Erwin Center. I checked in recruiters and students in the morning hours and helped set up for lunch that would be given to the recruiters.
I volunteered at the AISD North Side Terminal, I worked along side one of the assistant supervisors. With the supervisor, I helped with data entry for specific files as well as helping to organize rooms and supplies. I was more involved here than I was the first time.

I volunteered at the AISD North Transportation Terminal. I assisted the top coordinator with the training of a new bus driver. Overall, it was a good experience being able to the process of training and how it works.
I volunteered at the AISD North Base terminal. once again I was able to assist a coordinator with the training of the same driver. Because I was there a little longer, I was able to actually go on a route with the driver, and help with standing in as a "student" for the new driver to pick up. It was a lot of fun.

I volunteered at the Austin Child Guidance Center over the course of the fall semester gaining a total of 15+ hours and I am still currently volunteering there until the end of the next week. I volunteered as a play leader and I play with the children while they are waiting to meet with a professional or waiting on their parents. Overall my experience there has been one of great value and correlates with my major because I am an education major who will be working with children.. I hope to possibly volunteer at the Austin Child Guidance Center next semester as well, and I encourage others to also volunteer there so they too can have a fun and wholesome experience.
