I helped Sunmi's sons, Suho and Siho, learn basic tennis techniques. I have been playing tennis with them for a couple of weeks at Avery Ranch tennis courts. From teaching them stroke patterns and forms, I have been helping Suho and Siho learn basic tennis. I will continue giving them lessons as part of my involvement with the University Leadership Network.

I volunteered at the Austin Marathon with Texas 4000, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting cancer. I helped set up water stations for the runners and cheered them on!
I volunteered for The African Leadership Bridge's scholarship event. I took pictures and kept track of sales at the souvenir station. I volunteered from 5:30 - 10:30 PM.
I volunteered for Texas WOD Club's "Burpees for Boobies," an event designed to raise money for breast cancer research. I helped out with tear-down.
I picked up trash at Graffiti Park and removed broken bamboo from the area (brush). I did this through Texas Blazers.
I volunteered with my church, Gracepoint, at Heritage Park Nursing Home on Valentine's Day. There, we sang, talked, and shared the word of God with the elderly and the sick. It was a great opportunity. I was able to share a different kind of love with these people and it was a humbling experience.
I helped write letters for war veterans. It was a great experience.
I worked with my ULN mentor Jamie Vazquez for an hour on Tuesday December 9th to create goody bags for UT's staff and faculty. We stayed in the ULN office, making and assembling gift bags for the janitors.
