    Explore UT Austin

It was a wonderful experience! I was able to help kids draw flags of various countries. At one point a deaf girl showed up and I was able to help her by spelling out the words I sign language. This event is amazing I did not realize how many schools from other cities came to see us.

    West Campus Clean-Up

It was rewarding to clean up the residence area that is pretty much the face of UT student living. My team filled up 3 trash bags and 4 recycle bags. It was a great experience and a few members if the community thanked us for our work.

    DSACT Speech Program

It was interesting to see one of the struggles that parents of downs syndrome kids have. The kids were amazing and I love the way the staff works with them. I look forward to volunteering here again

    Holiday Heroes Project

I was able to write 3 letters to the Iron Rakkasan soldiers. The cookies were a good breakfast.

2014 Austin Trail of Lights Volunteer Opportunities!

This day I was supposed to be in Candy Land but was assigned Santa's Workshop instead. I was in charge of the photo booth, taking pictures of families and printing them out. Santa's workshop was really cool because you could make a flip book there.

2014 Austin Trail of Lights Volunteer Opportunities!

I was stationed at one of the displays with a radio. I had to watch for kids without families and intoxicated people. Most of the night was easy but at one point we had to look for an elderly woman in our crowds. Also, although it was only mid 50s it felt really cold.
