Bibharani Swargiary

Bibharani Swargiary, PhD is a native from Bodoland and lives in Guwahati. She completed her Masters of Arts in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She has experience of working with various development organizations in the North East India. She is an alumni of International Visitors Leadership Programme (IVLP)- a professional exchange program funded by the U.S Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She is currently an Assistant Professor (senior) and Head Department of Social Work, Assam Don Bosco University and Faculty Coordinator, Secretariate, NESBC Alliance. Her interest areas include Children, Peace and Conflict, Service learning and Social Work Education.
