About
Ijams Weed Warrior workdays are designed to give volunteers hands-on experience with invasive species removal techniques, expand their knowledge of invasive plants, learn about native replacement options, and more. This program is made possible by the Aslan Foundation.
Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes, long-sleeved shirts, and long pants to protect themselves from thorns and poison ivy. BRING WATER, BUGSPRAY, and SUNSCREEN! Tools and gloves will be provided.
PARKING LOCATIONS WILL BE SPECIFIED UNDER YOUR CHOSEN SHIFT. QR Code will be given to receive free parking while you are volunteering - You will need to know your license plate number.
Those who are under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult for all volunteer opportunities. Those who are 16 and 17 can participate in public volunteer workdays as long as they have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please email bcox@ijams.org for the permission sheet. Thank you!
