Celebrate Arbor Day and the end of <a href="https://www.somervillema.gov/news/sustainaville-week-2026-celebrate-climate-community-and-connection-somerville" target="_blank">SustainaVille Week</a> with this picnic and tree planting party at Lincoln Park. Alongside Somerville Senior Urban Forestry and Landscape Planner Vanessa Boukili, volunteers will work in teams of 3-4 people to plant ~10 ft tall bare-root trees. There will also be climate carnivial games, refreshments, and more! Please wear sunscreen, closed-toed shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and bring a water bottle.
