About
Keep Denton Beautiful, Inc. has 5 new receptacles installed in the Fry Street Area. We are seeking assistance counting and collecting cigarette butts in an effort to keep our city clean and record the effect this type of litter has on our community. We will also be picking up other trash and recyclables on site. All supplies provided by KDB. This is a dirty job and we appreciate your help maintaining this important part of reducing cigarette litter, the most commonly littered item in America.
If you are available at an alternative time, please email volunteer@kdb.org. Arrangements may be made to fit your schedule.
Please meet outside Crooked Crust. KDB's Volunteer Coordinator will provide information on how to complete the scan, demonstrate how to open the receptacle, distribute supplies, and answer any questions. KDB will provide all training, supplies, and snacks. Remember to bring your reusable water bottle.
