What to Expect 🌳
The project for this opportunity depends on the seasonal needs of the landscape but could involve mulching, weeding, seeding, planting, seed collecting, watering, collecting litter, or other tasks in and around the meadow area.

Open to individuals 13+

What to Bring 🥾
Please bring water in a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated and wear comfortable weather-appropriate close-toed shoes and clothing that you do not mind getting dirty.

We highly encourage long pants and long-sleeved shirts whenever possible. PPC will provide all necessary materials, including gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own pair.

Parking Information & Meeting Location 🚘
We highly encourage alternative modes of transportation such as walking, biking, public transportation, carpooling, or rideshare when visiting Pease Park.

If you drive please park at the Lamar Senior Activity Center (2874 Shoal Crest Ave), then safely cross the street at the intersection of North Lamar Blvd. and West 29th Street to get to the Lamar Terrace Wildflower Meadow. Once across the street, our team will meet you by the Mystic Raven sculpture.

If you sign up, please make every effort to show up. Our events are free so all of our community members can attend. But we plan our events to be meaningful for the number of people who register to be there, so please make every effort to attend if you have registered.
