What is a Beach Buddy?🌊🌤️🌴🐚🫧🤍🫂
Beach buddies are volunteers who will host an esp family for the entire duration of the esp by the Sea beach weekend. Their job is to embody joyful hospitality through out the day spending time with, getting to know, and generally supporting their designated family. The trip will be Thursday, April 23rd to Sunday, April 26th at Laguna Beach Christian Retreat. All meals and rooming are provided for the entirety of your time on the retreat property.
Additionally, we are thrilled to share that this year we’ll be welcoming more families than ever before! To help make this possible, we’re asking each Beach Buddy to fundraise $250 which will go directly toward scholarships, meals, lodging, and supplies that make this experience so special for our families. Donations can be made through an individual GiveLively Page that is connected to the esp By the Sea Campaign. And don’t worry—if you don’t reach the full $250— you’re still able to attend! Any and all fundraising efforts will be deeply appreciated.
This is an open application, and we will be doing rolling admissions. The first wave of admissions will be going out at the end of November. Please answer the questions below accurately and honestly.
