Career Fest Volunteer Opportunity
Join us for Michigan Tech’s Career Fest—an exciting outdoor recruiting event held on the campus mall. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a welcoming and successful experience for visiting employers and students.
Volunteer responsibilities may include assisting with event setup and teardown, moving tables, chairs, tents, displays, and supplies, helping employers set up their booths, and providing general event support as needed. This is a great opportunity to gain event experience, connect with employers, and contribute to one of Michigan Tech’s largest annual events.
Volunteer Shift Dates - Shifts times will differ from the event time listed.
- September 9 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
- September 15 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
- September 17 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
- September 22 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM

Important Information
For all shifts, please meet at the Career Services tent/trailer located on the MUB lawn.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for outdoor work and changing weather conditions. Some volunteer tasks may involve lifting, carrying, and moving equipment, so clothing that can get dirty is encouraged.
