Little Turtle Creek Love - Clean-up wtih SACA

Grab your hat, it's time for another Turtle Creek Clean-up!

Join us this coming Sunday as we give Little Turtle Creek some tender loving care! Are you noticing a trend here? Our creeks need constant attention and this little urban waterway doesn't get enough of it. South Austin Creek Alliance aims to bring awareness and attention to even the smallest of creeks and tributaries that need our help! Tell your friends and neighbors, or better yet, bring them to one of our clean-ups or educational talks.

We will be meeting, promptly, at 9:00AM at 110 Red Bird Lane, Austin, 78745.

Here's what you will need:

• Reusable Water Bottle
• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
• A good hat
• Preferably light-weight long pants and/or long sleeves
• Sunscreen
• Bug spray

SACA will have bug spray and sunscreen on-hand, but please bring your own if you have preferences or allergies.

SACA will provide:

• Grabbers/tools
• Gloves
• Trash Bags

SACA will start the clean-up promptly at 9AM with a brief, but thorough, safety introduction before we walk to the creek. Please expect to participate the entire duration of the clean-up so that all people and tools can be accounted for at the end of the event.
