Help Pease Park Conservancy set up for our annual fundraising event in Pease Park, Luminarium!
Join us as we get ready for our big day by prepping materials and arranging flowers/greenery to create a beautiful, festive setup!
All ages welcome; children must have adult supervision.
What to Expect 🌳
Luminarium is a beautiful outdoor event that helps us raise funds to maintain Kingsbury Commons and additional projects in the park. During this shift, volunteers will help prepare decorations and other items that we will need the following day at the event.
What to Bring 🥾
Please bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated and wear comfortable, weather-appropriate shoes and clothing. We will provide all the necessary materials.
Parking Information & Meeting Location 🚘
We highly encourage alternate forms of transportation such as walking, biking, public transportation, carpooling, or rideshare when visiting Pease Park.
FREE parking can be found at the Austin Recreation Center parking lot (1301 Shoal Creek Blvd) or the ACC Rio Grande Parking Garage (824 W 12th Street). Both of these options connect to Pease Park via a short walk along the Shoal Creek Trail.
Once you arrive, please check in at the Tudor Cottage and Terrace (1100 Kingsbury Street). This is the little brick building that is at the top of the hill that overlooks the playground.
A note about Pease Park Conservancy's events:
If you sign up, please make every effort to show up. Our events are free, so all of our community members can attend. But we plan our events to be meaningful for the number of people who register to be there, so please make every effort to attend if you have registered. We understand things come up from time to time, but if you have registered, we look forward to having you there! Thank you!
