About

Stronger Austin, Powered by IT'S TIME TEXAS, and in partnership with the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, the Austin Public Health Department, Central Texas Food Bank, the Michael & Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living, and My Brother's Keeper, is a collective impact health initiative improving access to health and wellness services in Austin's most underserved neighborhoods. Stronger Austin delivers fitness programming, expanded access to healthy food and nutrition education, increased access to health services, and improved coordination with social services. Programing and services are free and available directly within neighborhoods where Austinites are disproportionately at risk for obesity and related chronic diseases.

By bringing together a network of community organizations, city programs, nonprofits and community members, Stronger Austin engages all of Austin to build a healthier, more equitable community.
