Description | Volunteers will help to construct 4 units at Habitat's newest construction site, 43rd and Elizabeth in Denver, CO. There will be a variety of tasks to choose from including wall framing, roofing, door and window installation. Volunteers do not need any previous construction experience. Habitat's construction staff will teach the volunteers everything they need to know in order to complete the day's tasks. Habitat provides tools, materials and safety equipment. This volunteer opportunity is available to individuals 16 years old and older.
The site is located near the I-70 reconstruction project and some local streets are permanently shut down as a result of the construction and others closed periodically. Please give yourselves plenty of time to get to the site given all of the street closures.
