I was able to be a lead for the attorneys at a free DACA clinic. Answering the questions for volunteers and speaking to some of the applicants was a nice experience. Some people were there applying for their work permit to change their lives in the United States. It was amazing knowing they will have the opportunities I have been granted.
Citizenship Drive Training:
This training made me realize that Immigration law goes way beyond DACA. I became excited to the Citizenship drive so I could see the different population that the one I am used to working with.
I was able to help undocumented students apply for DACA. This is always a very rewarding experience because I am able to listen to other's stories about how they have managed to go on in this country and their life goals, despite of their immigration status.
this was a great experience in helping the community.
Clinic for deferred action. Helped 70 applicants and had 40 volunteers.
