I gave people their bibs and directed them where they could get their shirts. There were no problems.
I helped direct runners to the proper line at the packet pick-up tent, as there were four lines. There was a line for each of the three distances and a line for runner who did not know their bib number. I also helped unload and load the truck. My main job was giving runners their food/snack bags as they finished their race. Some one provided me a volunteer list to sign in but did not have a chance to sign out. I had a little trouble finding the event. I signed in at 7:30 and left at 11:30. As always, I had a lot of fun.
I had a fun and productive time helping the Team Ortho crew. Much was accomplished in terms of organizing for the Polar Dash and for the warehouse itself.
