Overall the check in session was successful. My biggest concern and feedback is the just organization of the event. I arrived at my designated time and there was no one there from the Volunteer staff to check us in or give us responsibilities. The staff that were suppose to lead the volunteers did not show up till almost 10:30 when the volunteers had a 9:30am arrival time. I ended doing an event that wasn't event he same as what i registered for, which was fine but concerning. While I enjoyed the experience and getting to meet new students and their families it was very frustrating to waist over an hour of my time waiting for the people in charge to show up to get the event even started when I have a full time job I could have been doing.
