I always enjoy my time at the Food Bank, and this time I had the pleasure of serving alongside my Spelman sister, Mackenzie, and members of the OPTOMI team. Thanks to our combined efforts, we came super close to beating the Food Bank record of 30 pallets with us completing 28 pallets. I can’t wait to go back!

Although it was an early morning shift, I was excited as always to be back at the Food Bank! The Food Bank recently changed their layout and I'm still getting used to it, but I still find it enjoyable!
Going to the Food Bank was enjoyable as always. I was able to participate in a different job than usual; I was a date-checker rather than a puller. I definitely appreciate the new experience and can’t wait to do it again!
I enjoyed working with friends today at the Food Bank. We packed more than 8,000 pounds of food and other items for members of our community!
I really enjoyed the opportunity to help the native ecosystem of Chosewood Park defend itself against the invasive species that has taken over parts of the forest. The hands-on actions of axing the roots, clipping the vines, and poisoning the remains of the plants made me truly see the impact I got to make.
I enjoyed giving back to the Caslteberry community today through the community clean-up. I feel that it’s important to give to the communities that our institutions reside in as AUC students, and I am happy to have been a part of that effort today!
