It's always super fun and rewarding to go back to my high school and share insight regarding applying for college and the overall college experience! Furthermore, I love catching up with my old college and career readiness counselor, who was pivotal in my acceptance to Spelman.

I had an amazing time making sandwiches for the community and meeting new students from the AUC. I always have fun at sandwich runs!
This was such a fun and rewarding experience. I had an amazing time serving with my AUC community!
The staff was very nice and informative! It was a great working environment. Furthermore, it was nice learning about the organization and where exactly the books were being shipped to. Even though the shifts online were from 9-11, the staff allowed me to stay an extra hour! They were very flexible and easy to work with.
Working with the middle schoolers was fun yet challenging . I got to test my knowledge on things I hadn’t covered in a while and connect with them on a more personal level.
It was a very rewarding experience. The check in process was easy, and the tasks were straight forward. I loved the kids.
In October, I volunteered with the Morehouse College Graves House Council to help produce their annual haunted house event. This was such a fun and memorable experience! I love working on a team in order to produce things on a large scale. I am so happy that I decided to help.
During the fall break, I went back home to speak at my old CTE school. I had a good time connecting with my former teachers and answering the students' questions regarding college. After speaking to the class, I could stay back and individually connect with students. I even had the pleasure of helping one of the seniors secure an internship for the upcoming spring semester! It was a very rewarding experience.
I had so much fun going back to my old high school to speak about applying for college and my HBCU experience! The students were very engaged and had a lot of questions. This definitely something that I would like to do again.
