whew! it was hot today, so limited myself to 1 hour. Bees moving around so fast today! rarely rested for long enough for me to get a good photo. Herb gardens and riparian area seemed most bee friendly today during my monitoring time. posted to iNat for ID.

brr! cold day. Was at the garden for iris show, so added on bee monitoring. Not good bee weather! but there was a bit of sun in the late afternoon and a bumble bee was out and about by the butterfly gate which was thrilling to find. Plenty of things blooming but no other bees seen, except some honey bees (we are not monitoring). This project is helping me discover new plants in the garden.
