Thursday Compost Crew | Fall 24

Today's composting event wasn't even just about volunteering, but it also included learning further about this movement. I was able to understand the impact of composting and how it is something that should be looked further into for the future. The benefits of it are numerous where they ultimately allow people to understand that food doesn't just need to throw away but can be recycled into farmlands where more food can grow and help us stop the waste. I had the duty to inform students coming to eat, offer insights, take food out of trashes and people's leftovers, and separate them into categories, and cleaning. Overall, this event made me appreciate further on composting and allowed me to learn as well.
