It was a good experience to get CPR certified, although I would have liked to do something tangible in the community while we had the day off. Considering that most of us were already certified in the room, it didn't seem like the best option for everyone. Still, you never know if something like that would be helpful down the road.

Marina Clean Up
This was in Boston, but the option isn’t available. It was a fantastic experience, working in Dorcester, MA. We worked with our intern teams to help construct houses in low-income neighborhoods. This included breaking down shingles, constructing, and taking breaks to talk to the people who we were building a house for.
This was part of our Bank of America intern experience, where we all went to Cradles for Crayons in Boston, and worked with the volunteers to create gift baskets for little kids. It was a lot of a fun putting them together, and seeing the impact that we were making in the community. It was also gratifying knowing that they needed the help, and it is something that I can do whenever I am home.
