I attended call for a cure for 1 hour! I ate lots of food and hung out with friends. I was able to receive donations as well.
Today at Potter’s House, I put out various items on their designated shelves. After this I rack maintenanced the clothes by putting them in size and color order. This part was my favorite because it reminded me of my job back at home. I also brought my roommate with me this time—it was her first time volunteering and she enjoyed it!
This was my first time volunteering at the Potters House! All of the employees and volunteers are kind and grateful. I was able to clear the shelves and tag Christmas items to be put out on display. I cannot wait to go back!
I enjoyed waking up and walking with other Zetas to the SEC Nation. This was a unique opportunity to show spirit for not only my sorority, but my school as well. SEC Nation is a televised event which made my family members a little jealous I got to attend. I also got to see my roommate who is a Delta Gamma, and meet all of her sisters as well. #greekunity. Despite the cold weather, this was a fun experience and getting to meet with my sisters and other ladies involved in Greek life brings me joy!
