My friend Eric and I once again decided to take it upon ourselves to make a more direct and personal service to the students of the University of Texas at Austin. In this event we distributed candy among other treats to hard working students studying or working for projects and midterms around campus. We went to various of different locations including but not limited to the FAC, SAC, Jester, PCL, etc. Although the timing was not as great as last years (being during finals week), I still believe we made the day of many of our peers through the smiles we made on their faces. That extra jolt of energy can make the difference of taking another look at a formula/or passage that can change your grade from a D to a C or a B to an A. All in all, I am feel really happy to have supported dilligent students and stop then from feeling underappreciated for their unrewarded hard work.

Working first hand with the citizens of Austin and seeing smiles in their faces as well as with those of the children in general was really rewarding. In addition to that, the view of the lights were spectacular.
The work we did by motivation students undergoing study for finals felt greater than expected. The smile in there faces when getting a candy from nowhere or reading a funny poster we made truly motivated many students to go the extra mile in their studying. I am actually glad I made the decision to make a personal service to the community of UT.
Very Well Organized
Really fun and enjoyable
It was very straightforward and the people there were very nice, so that was very cool.
