I learned and helped inform others of the injustice that is happening in the Washington County Area. I helped by asking people for signatures to plead the Washington Country government to hold off the expansion of the country jail and let the citizens vote for what they want the money spent on.
I helped set up the banners, trophies, and tables. I got to know the other volunteers and learned more about the SPARK Foundation and its upcoming events.
I helped stack ~10,000 items of clothes into a truck to be donated to a clothes recycling non-profit. I did this with my college church, St. Thomas Aquinas. I may not see the outcomes of my effort, but I absolutely loved every second of the work, every minute of learning more about Potter's House, and the St. Thomas Aquinas community that I believe grew stronger.
Prepped the St. Thomas Spring Newsletter; so happy that I got to help my college parish.
