Explore UT - Cockrell School Volunteers

Volunteering was a lot of fun! I worked the 2:30-5 volunteer shift, and it was pretty easy to catch on. They could use a little more communication for clean-up and whose assigned to what task from different areas of the event.

2015 TAME Divisional Math and Science Competition

Helped to judge the competition and folded chairs after it ended. It was a lot of fun to be involved and see how creative the kids could be with their projects!

Silk Road : An Asian Epicurean Journey

The event was a little bit disorganized at first as there wasn't really a clear leader for the volunteer group, but after the initial confusion subsided, everyone worked hard and finished setting up just in time for the event. I would definitely help out with this and similar events again!

Kristen Mackenzie Lawton

Kristen Mackenzie @ Engineering Expo

I was assigned as a corporate liaison but ended up acting as a floater. If you take the earliest shift, be ready to walk to the HRC, because the bus doesn't run until later in the day!
